Hey, I’m Andres, cinematographer, storyteller, and someone who believes that creativity, like a good paella, is all about timing, care, and soul.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked across commercials, music videos, documentaries, broadcast, and narrative films, collaborating with brands like Coca Cola, Toyota, Google, Disney, NBC, Telemundo, Sony Music, Red Bull, and artists including Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera, Marc Anthony, J Balvin, Residente, and Bizarrap.

I’m a member of AEC, the Spanish Society of Cinematographers, and AAF LA, the Los Angeles chapter of the American Advertising Federation. I’ve also had the rare privilege of learning directly from masters of the craft including Vilmos Zsigmond ASC, Dante Spinotti ASC, and Fernando Argüelles ASC, AEC. Vilmos taught me the poetry of light, Dante the discipline of elegance and emotional restraint, and Fernando the power of visual storytelling with heart. Their influence continues to shape the way I see, feel, and frame every story.

Through Burrito Films, my Los Angeles based studio, I bring together cinematography, production, post, emerging technology, and a fully equipped camera, lighting, drone, and grip package. From high impact branded content to multi camera productions, music videos, films, and social campaigns, I like solving production challenges with cinematic taste, technical precision, and calm under pressure.

Projects I’ve photographed have been recognized by Cannes Lions, Telly Awards, Promax, FIAP, Berlin Commercial, Young Director Awards, and other festivals. I’m grateful for the recognition, but what I value most is building meaningful work with people I genuinely enjoy sharing time with on set and beyond.

Born in Spain and now based in Los Angeles, I bring a European sensibility, Hispanic creativity, bold compositions, cinematic rhythm, and a deeply collaborative spirit to every shoot.
